Jesse Marlow
Jesse Marlow (b. 1978, Australia) was the inaugural winner of the International Street Photography Prize run by the London Street Photography Festival in 2011. Based in Melbourne, he is a member of the international street photographers’ collective in-public.com and Oculi, Australia’s leading documentary photography agency.

“The photos in my series ‘Don’t Just Tell Them, Show Them’ are a visual reaction to encounters in my daily travels. For me, it’s about searching for the unusual in the ordinary – an ambiguity that lies just below the surface.
Set in the environment of everyday, this series aims to explore the banality of modern day existence through themes of abandonment, suburbia and daily rituals."
